Only a few days ago, I had the chance, to see with pleasure, a video recorded at your TV station and I was very impressed by the quality of the transmission and sharp design, as much as by the intelligent and interesting combination of programs what will convert in one of the best of the world. My sincere congratulations.

Dear Mr. Isari

We hope that this letter finds you well and happy. We have been praying for you and for the success of your Television Station.

We are fine. We have been very busy with concerts and the duties of our missionary work. We will have a very busy summer and then we will return to Romania in October.

It is our plan to fly to the Czech Republic first. We will do several benefits concerts to raise money for a humanitarian Organization named, ADRA. Then we will come to you by train from Slovakia. We understand that this will be a long trip and we are hoping that it will give us time to rest before coming to Iasi.

We are planning, as we spoke about last year, to do a concert for your people at the Theatre in Iasi and take a professional video of it for airing on your station. We understand that you will need to reserve the theatre, make whatever plans, etc. Therefore we are letting you know that we will be in your area to do the concert on Saturday October 24, 1998.

We have been in touch with Pastor Marius Munteanu by fax and letter. We have asked him to be in charge of our scheduling as he is a very capable young man and we trust him very much.

So, please contact him and make certain that all is well with the date with him. It can be changed as we have a two week period to deal with. Pastor Marius Munteanu also is involved in a huge evangelistic effort for his church and they will need some help from you. It is our prayer that you will find it in your heart to help him with that, too. It should be very easy to combine our concerts with the Evangelistic effort. In America, we call that two-for-one!

God bless you in your efforts on behalf of this ministry. We are excited to return and see you again. Perhaps our timing will be better and we can spend some time with you.

Dear Mr. Isari:

I am writing you in response to your letter of condolence for the terrorist attacks in the U.S. on September 11. I want to express my thanks and the thanks of the American people for your letter. In the face of such tragedy it is heartening to know that people all over the world felt their common humanity and rejected these acts as the terrible crimes they are.

The outpouring of support in we have received from Romania is deeply appreciated. I believe by working together with the Romanian people America will rebuild, comfort the survivors, bring the authors of this crime to justice, and ensure crimes like this never happen again in America, Romania, or elsewhere in the world.

As Mayor of Iasi city, elected by the democratic forces in the third legislature, I highly recommend Mrs. Theodora Isari and Mr. Ticu Isari for the activity they have done all these years in our city and as family, Mrs. Theodora Isari works along with her husband, Mr. Ticu Isari at the Tele'M television channel, the only Romanian channel totally involved in solving the community's problems. Their professionalism and dedication have made this television channel a universal one indeed. For us it is great honour and pride.

Also, this family lives in the spirit of the Rotarian precepts, which they strictly abide and fulfill. We are sorry about their decision to immigrate to Canada, but we are convinced that our loss will be great gain to the Canadian community.

As a university professor and mathematician, and mostly as mayor, I recommend them and wish them happiness there where they want to live and enjoy together with you.
